Jump Rope Day is hosted to raise funds for the school's philanthropic alliance with Brincando por Ti and Dr. Sonrisas. Día del Amor y la Amistad activities include a Friendship Lunch Exchange that promotes kindness and connection within the school community. Wellbeing and mindfulness are valued at the school. SKY Breath Meditation courses were offered to staff in March 2023 to promote mental wellbeing. The program includes breathing exercises, meditation, yoga and leadership-conscious practices.
Escuela Lomas Altas is an IB World School in Mexico offering the Primary Years Programme for Preschool and Primary. The curriculum is inquiry-based and organized around Units of Inquiry, with total immersion in English and Spanish—roughly half of the content in each language.
