Extra-Curricular Activities

Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

The MIT Nord Anglia STEAM program helps students develop creativity and problem-solving through interdisciplinary challenges guided by world-leading experts. Model United Nations provides Middle and High School students opportunities to model debates, prepare for national and international conferences, and organize their own Eton MUN on campus. The IB program underpins inquiry across Middle and High School, while field trips and visiting experts bring lessons to life beyond the classroom.

Arts and Creative

The Juilliard School collaboration enriches performing arts, including dance, drama, and music. The music program runs in the mornings with groups and offers private lessons after school in cello, violin, guitar/ukulele, piano, recorder and flute, and singing. The After-School Program (ASP) includes soccer, basketball, volleyball, taekwondo, cheerleading, theatre, and art.

Cultural and Language

Model United Nations provides Middle and High School students opportunities to model UN debates, prepare for national and international conferences, and organize their own on-campus Eton MUN. UNICEF collaboration embeds the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in teaching and learning. Collaborations with MIT and Juilliard broaden cultural understanding and global perspectives.

Social and Hobbies

ASP activities include soccer, basketball, volleyball, taekwondo, cheerleading, theatre, and art. Outdoor Education provides one-of-a-kind outdoor experiences with annual camping trips that build teamwork and problem-solving. Music is offered in mornings with groups and private lessons after school. Conscious Discipline, yoga classes, mindfulness practices, wellbeing conferences and workshops, and personal meetings support students' social and emotional well-being.

Community and Service

The school sponsors Centro Educativo José Vasconcelos, a local high school. Early Childhood students fundraise with Unidos por la Montaña to sponsor nutrition and education for a year; Elementary students work with Comedor Santa María to support nutrition. In Middle and High School, students contribute to Manos por la Educación—fundraising and helping rebuild a low-income school damaged in the 2017 earthquake.

Leadership and Professional

Model United Nations provides opportunities to model debates, prepare for conferences, and organize on-campus events. ASP activities include soccer, basketball, volleyball, taekwondo, cheerleading, theatre, and art. Digital coaches promote best uses of technology, supported by Mosyle Mobile Device Management. Collaborations with MIT, Juilliard, and UNICEF offer professional development opportunities and global perspectives for students and teachers.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The learning environment emphasizes a healthy balance between academics, the arts, social life, and emotional development. Conscious Discipline integrates social-emotional learning, and yoga classes and mindfulness practices are offered, with wellbeing conferences and personal meetings for student support. Our campuses are designed with spaces that promote calm, concentration, and connection to the community.
