Facilities Overview

Greengates School Mexico is a multicultural campus serving Early Years through Secondary. Early Years features 100% English immersion with an English-qualified teacher and a bilingual educational assistant in every classroom. Primary education combines English and Spanish instruction. Secondary offers English, Spanish, French, IB Japanese and IB Korean. The campus includes specialist spaces that are designed and equipped to support individualized learning in small classes, a hydroponics garden for hands-on science, and a library with makerspace activities.

Sports Facilities

Swimming is part of physical education and takes place in the pool. Physical education activities occur twice weekly as part of the Primary program. The afternoon programme offers a broad range of sporting activities. Students can compete with Greengates teams against other local schools.

Academic Facilities

Specialist spaces are designed and equipped to support individualized learning within small class sizes. A hydroponics garden on campus supports hands-on science learning. In Primary, English immersion follows the English National Curriculum. In Secondary, learning centers around the IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme. Languages offered at Secondary include English, Spanish, French, IB Japanese, and IB Korean.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Beyond the classroom, the afternoon activities span a broad range of sporting, academic, and performing arts. The IB Diploma Programme includes components like Theory of Knowledge and scientific enquiry. Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) is an after-school component. Students tutor younger peers or contribute to a school team as part of extracurricular life. The programme culminates with the IB Diploma and preparation for universities and future career paths.

Greengates School in Naucalpan de Juárez, north of Mexico City, is part of Nord Anglia Education and serves ages 3 to 18 as a day school. The curriculum combines IEYC for early years, IPC in primary, with English National Curriculum in English instruction, and IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme in secondary. In Early Years (ages 3–5) there is 100% English immersion with an internationally qualified teacher and a bilingual assistant. Primary (ages 6–10) teaches English and Spanish and emphasizes British and international studies. Secondary (11–18) offers English, Spanish, French, IB Japanese and IB Korean alongside the IGCSE and IB DP. The campus includes specialist spaces, a hydroponics garden, and a library with makerspace activities. It hosts a diverse community of over 50 nationalities and runs a broad after-school program including Drama, Music, and Sport. Notably, Greengates is the only Mexico school accredited to deliver both IEYC and IPC today.
