Founded in 1951, Greengates is located in Naucalpan de Juárez, north of Mexico City. It is part of Nord Anglia Education and is described as one of the LATAM region's top schools. It is the only school in Mexico accredited to deliver both the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). The school delivers the English National Curriculum, IGCSE, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Its graduates pursue higher education at universities around the world, with many receiving scholarships.
Greengates has a diverse community representing over 50 nationalities and a range of languages. It operates within the Nord Anglia Education family, enabling a global network of schools. The school promotes values such as respect, empathy, and responsibility as part of its inclusive culture. The International Fair is the school's major annual event, where students learn about each child's identity and share traditions from around the world.
Every year, Greengates' students support different charities, working closely with the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) to fundraise for others' needs or important causes. Students take a role in selecting the charities, allowing each child to participate in making an impactful decision within a community.
Greengates School in Naucalpan de Juárez, north of Mexico City, is part of Nord Anglia Education and serves ages 3 to 18 as a day school. The curriculum combines IEYC for early years, IPC in primary, with English National Curriculum in English instruction, and IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme in secondary. In Early Years (ages 3–5) there is 100% English immersion with an internationally qualified teacher and a bilingual assistant. Primary (ages 6–10) teaches English and Spanish and emphasizes British and international studies. Secondary (11–18) offers English, Spanish, French, IB Japanese and IB Korean alongside the IGCSE and IB DP. The campus includes specialist spaces, a hydroponics garden, and a library with makerspace activities. It hosts a diverse community of over 50 nationalities and runs a broad after-school program including Drama, Music, and Sport. Notably, Greengates is the only Mexico school accredited to deliver both IEYC and IPC today.
