The school has a formal uniform policy; clothes must be clean and in good condition, and all items must be labeled with the student's name and grade. Students wear an institutional T-shirt, polo or shirt from several models, and may wear pants, shorts, dress pants, or jeans; on physical education days they wear athletic wear and sneakers. Uniforms are provided by Cesar's Uniforms, Uniformes Aboytes, and Go&Win, with grade-specific supply lists published.
The school has a nutritional dining hall on site (Comedor nutricional).
Governance is by an Asociación Civil. The Asociación elects a Governing Council responsible for operations. The Asociación began with 10 founding members and currently has 32 members.
Instituto Cervantes Apostólica in San Luis Potosí is an IB World School offering Primary Years Programme and Middle Years Programme for students from maternal to secondary levels.
