Uniforms are mandatory. The daily uniform for boys includes a white or navy polo with the school emblem, a navy sweater, gray trousers, a black belt, and closed black or navy shoes, with white or navy socks. For girls, the daily uniform includes a white or navy polo with the emblem, a navy sweater, a knee-length plaid skirt or navy pants, navy socks or tights, and navy or black shoes; hair accessories must be navy blue, white, or burgundy. Extravagant hairstyles, makeup, piercings, and tattoos are not allowed. Bachillerato students are not required to wear the standard uniform and may wear jeans with a polo and emblem.
The dining service provides breakfast and lunch every school day.
The Colegio Internacional SEK Guadalajara is governed by a Director General, Director of Administration, Director of Admissions, and Heads of Studies, with the Pedagogical Council overseeing academic departments. It follows the Internal Regulations of the IISek and the Colegio's Manual de Convivencia, and it is part of the International SEK network with a schooling guarantee.
Instituto Internacional SEK Guadalajara is a private educational institution offering the IB Diploma Programme and part of the SEK International Institution, a network with over 134 years of service. The Guadalajara campus sits in a nature-rich setting and features dynamic classrooms designed for play, discovery and exploration, plus an orchard for environmental education. The school places a strong emphasis on English as a foundational axis, with a fully bilingual kindergarten and English-led instruction across levels, complemented by official English and French certifications. The curriculum progresses from Preschool Level through General Basic Level to General Middle Level, using SEK methodologies to support development and language proficiency in two native languages plus a second language. Core subjects include Spanish, Mathematics, Universal History, Civics, Geography, Biology and introductory studies in Biology, Physics and Chemistry; English focuses on grammar and conversation. Extracurriculars run 8:00–16:00 and include sports, music, robotics, public speaking and arts programs.
