History
The Instituto Ovalle Monday is a private school in Mexico City with 70 years of experience delivering bilingual education. The first educational center named Jardín de Niños del Tepeyac was inaugurated in 1955. In 1960 the Instituto Ovalle Monday opened at Plantel Latacunga with Preschool, English I, and Primary levels. In 1975 the Secondary program was inaugurated, and in 1980 Primaria Plantel Torres opened, accompanied by an educational exchange with Japan after a meeting with Urawa Megumi Kindergarten. The Psychopedagogical Department was created in 1990 to coordinate internal plans and SEP programs, and the CPAD was established in 1993; the IB Middle Years Programme was adopted in 2012 and the school was recognized as a Google Reference School in 2018.

Community
Mesas Directivas work with parent representatives from IOM families, with active participation and in synergy with the school. We have Social Participation Committees that support road safety, student health, and school safety.
