Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Wellbeing is a priority. Students build resilience, empathy, and emotional well-being from Kindergarten to High School with in-house psychologists and teachers, alongside the KiVa anti-bullying program. Social-emotional programs strengthen emotional growth and positive relationships. Individualized and small-group support is provided by the wellbeing team, including psychologists. A school psychologist supports learners at every stage through collaboration with students, families, and teachers to create a safe, inclusive environment.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Students with special educational needs receive tailored support, small-group guidance, and targeted interventions to nurture confidence, inclusion, and emotional growth. Needs are identified through classroom observations, family interviews, and psychometric tests, and documented in detailed reports developed with specialists. Individualized support plans are co-designed with teachers, parents, and school leaders. Interventions occur in and beyond the classroom with inclusive strategies, peer support, and ongoing monitoring and review.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Grow bilingual in English and Spanish, learn French from Early Years, and earn Cambridge English and DELF certifications.

Mental Wellbeing

A school psychologist supports learners at every stage, guiding social-emotional growth and resilience. Through close collaboration with students, families, and teachers—using observations, assessments, therapy, and tailored interventions—every child feels valued, understood, and empowered in a safe, nurturing environment.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is a shared commitment that puts every student's safety and wellbeing first. A clear and comprehensive safeguarding policy guides how concerns are identified, reported and addressed, with families and external experts involved to support wellbeing and transparency. On-site medical service, KiVa anti-bullying program, physical intervention policy, online learning safeguarding policy, and safe recruitment policy are implemented to protect students.
