Fees
Overview

International School of Querétaro (ISQ) provides education from Preschool through High School.

Application fees

No public, itemized application or one‑time registration fee amount is published for the 2026/27 or 2025/26 academic cycles. The school describes an admissions process and required documents for each entry level but does not list a fixed numeric application/registration charge on the public admissions material.

Tuition fees by school year (per term / per year)

No publicly available, year‑group or term‑by‑term tuition schedule (numeric amounts) is published for the 2026/27 academic year; a comparable published schedule for 2025/26 is not available either. There are no posted per‑grade annual or per‑term tuition figures on the school's publicly accessible admissions, general information, or parent pages. Therefore specific tuition amounts per year group and per term are not available in the school's public material.

Billing schedule and payment terms

The school publishes an academic calendar (example: the 2025–2026 calendar with term and holiday dates), but there is no published billing calendar, payment‑deadline schedule, or detailed payment‑term policy (for example, due dates, late‑fee policy, proration rules) in the public materials reviewed. Academic dates are shown in the school calendar.

Boarding fees

ISQ operates as a day school with separate Preschool, Elementary, Middle and High School campus sections and campus facilities; there is no boarding programme or boarding fee schedule listed in the school's public materials. As a result, no boarding fees apply or are published.

Other costs (uniform, books, activities, transport, extras)

- Books and school materials are handled through a school supplier portal (Algebraix); no consolidated published prices for books/materials are shown in the public material.
- Afterschool sports programmes: the athletic afterschool programme is described as optional and is included within the regular tuition in some cases (sports disciplines are described as part of the institutional offering); specific prices per sport are not published.
- Afterschool artistic and technological workshops: these are explicitly optional and carry an extra cost that varies by activity; specific fees for each workshop are not published.
- No public, itemized uniform fee, school transport fee schedule, or explicit extra‑charge list (with amounts) was found in the publicly available school pages.

Refund information

There is no published refund policy, cancellation fee schedule, or formal refund procedure (for deposit, registration, or tuition) available in the public admissions or general information materials reviewed.

Fee payment options (credit card, bank transfer, cash, online portal)

No explicit list of accepted payment methods (for example: credit card, bank transfer, cash, or specific online payment portals) or payment instructions is published in the school's public admissions or parent pages. The school does offer parent/administration portals and vendor integrations (e.g., Algebraix, Scholastic, Smartick are listed as partners), which indicate digital supplier and parent communication systems, but specific payment channels and instructions for paying school fees are not published in the material reviewed.

How to obtain the school's official fee schedule and billing details

- Phone: +52 (442) 234‑30‑42 (numbers listed for admissions/information).
- Email: informes@isq.edu.mx.

Brief summary of findings and gaps

I reviewed the school's public admissions, calendar, installations, afterschool and books/materials pages for the 2025–2026 cycle and found no published numeric tuition or fee schedule, no public application/registration fee amounts, no published billing/payment deadlines or payment‑method instructions, and no refund policy posted for 2025/26 or 2026/27. The school does publish the academic calendar, contact information, details about afterschool activities (including which activities carry extra costs), and that books/materials are managed through a supplier portal. For precise numeric fees, billing dates, payment options, refund terms, and any sibling discounts or deposit rules, contact the school directly at the phone number or email above.

Wellbeing

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

ISQ has a psychopedagogical department composed of psychologists, pedagogues, and specialists in human communication who provide attention, monitor progress, and evaluate student performance. They work with school leaders, teachers, and parents to develop action plans for students who need support. The school's convivencia program aims to foster healthy convivencia and respect for diversity in a culture of peace, with strategies such as internal evaluations, sociograms, assemblies on non-violent conflict resolution, and interventions by teachers, tutors, and students. The program also includes resources like International Student Integration, individual or group asesorías, psychological testing, and personalized academic follow-up.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

ISQ provides support for students requiring extra help through the psychopedagogical department, including individualized or group counseling and diagnostic testing to identify difficulties. They collaborate with families and teachers to design and implement action plans, plus personalized academic follow-up.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

ISQ offers nine internationally accredited certifications in three languages: Spanish, English, and French, and is recognized as one of the best bilingual schools in Querétaro.

Mental Wellbeing

Psychosocial support and wellbeing monitoring are provided by the psychopedagogical team, which offers counseling and preventive guidance and coordinates with teachers, tutors, and families to support students' social and academic development.

Safeguarding

ISQ participates in UNESCO's Red PEA (Associated Schools Network), focusing on education for global citizenship and sustainable development. It aims to build a conscious, participative community that promotes the common good; the network connects ISQ with more than 11,500 schools in 182 countries to foster international understanding, peace, intercultural dialogue, and quality education. ISQ emphasizes a multicultural environment with over 26 nationalities and 1,100+ students, guided by UNESCO's four pillars of education: learning to know, to do, to live together, and to be.

Admissions

Admissions

1. General approach to admission. International School of Querétaro listens to families of new entrants to help them make the best educational decision for their children. Admissions exams are designed to understand the abilities your child possesses and to determine admission. The Admissions Council oversees the process to ensure clear procedures for new entrants. 2. PreK and K1 admissions. To begin the admission process for PreK and K1, the staff provides a family, personal, and medical form to be completed online. The file is sent to the Admissions Council for pre‑enrollment authorization. An interview with the Preschool director is scheduled, along with an observation of the child before the start of the school year. 3. K2 and K3 admissions. After these documents are received, the staff sends the family a form to be filled online. The results of the evaluation are conveyed through an interview with the Preschool Director; if the family does not reside in Querétaro, the results may be emailed five business days after the exam. 4. Pre‑first through 12th grade admissions. Upon receipt, the Admissions staff sends the family the online family, personal, and medical form. The exam is administered after meeting the stated requirements, and results are provided five business days after the exam. 5. Waiting list. ISQ maintains a maximum number of students per class. If there is no seat for the requested grade, the applicant must have begun the admissions process to be placed on the waiting list. The admissions period begins in October each year. 6. IB status. ISQ is a “candidate” IB Diploma Programme school and is working to establish all parameters to obtain authorization to become an IB World School. Only IB‑authorized schools can offer the Diploma Programme, and the candidate status does not guarantee authorization.

Scholarships

The school offers sports, arts, and academic scholarships. For more information, requests can be made during the admissions process.
