Application and Enrollment Fees
To secure a place for the upcoming academic year, families pay an annual re-enrollment fee in February. The required fees vary by grade level: Kinder K1-K2 is MXN [10,979]; Kinder K3-PF is MXN [13,055]; Primary is MXN [13,625]; Secondary is MXN [16,426]; and CCH is MXN [18,231].
Tuition Fees by Year Group
Families can choose between a 10-month plan prorated from August to May, or an 11-month plan that includes a double charge in December to cover July. The total annual tuition rates for the 10-month plan are:
Kinder K1-K2: MXN [131,748]
Kinder K3-PF: MXN [156,660]
Primary (G1-G5): MXN [163,500]
Secondary (F1-F4): MXN [197,112]
CCH (F5-U6): MXN [218,772]
Additional Costs
As a day school, boarding fees do not apply. Families contribute MXN [2,700] annually to an Orphanhood Fund. To encourage environmental responsibility, an Ecological Tariff of MXN [500] per month is applied to families who do not utilize the school transport or a registered carpool.
Billing Schedule and Payment Terms
Monthly payments are due on the last business day of each month. Families receive a 4% discount if the annual tuition is paid in full before August 29. Late payments incur penalty charges ranging from 2% to 20% depending on the delay.
Fee Payment Options and Refunds
Accepted payment methods include BBVA bank transfers, credit or debit cards via OpenPay, and recurring direct debit exclusively for American Express cardholders. Specific refund policies for deposits are managed directly with the administration upon withdrawal.
La Escuela de Lancaster is a bicultural, non-profit school with two campuses in Mexico City: Plantel Rey Yupanqui (Preescolar-Primaria) and Plantel Diligencias (Secundaria-Bachillerato). Founded in 1979 to blend Mexican and British traditions, it serves students aged 3 to 18. The curriculum combines international frameworks with local requirements. The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) anchors learning in the primary years, with English taught alongside drama, art, computing, sports, music, and Spanish within SEP alignment. In secondary, the programme blends SEP with Cambridge IGCSE and offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP). The IMYC supports the transition between PYP and IGCSE. The UNAM CCH pathway yields a UNAM certificate. The four pillars are biculturalidad, comunidad, pensamiento crítico, and formación integral. Notable programs include LankySports, Fulcrum arts publishing, Chess, Acción Social with Club de San Andrés and the Sustainability Committee, and a strong commitment to inclusive education and social responsibility today.
