Liceo Federico Froebel de Oaxaca is located at Ajusco 100, Col. Volcanes, Oaxaca de Juárez, Oaxaca 68020. The school serves Kindergarten, Elementary, and Baccalaureate/Middle and High School levels. It offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program and is the only high school in Oaxaca authorized to offer the IB Diploma. The language of instruction includes English and Spanish, with a strong bilingual program. Green School initiatives promote environmental stewardship through waste management, recycling, reducing waste, use of eco-friendly materials, and efficient use of electricity and water. Reading Project for Elementary and Middle School aims to develop competent readers and to encourage imagining, discovering, and reflecting, with reading in Spanish and English. The School has a Risk Management Plan with six emergency brigades (Prevention and mitigation, Emotional support, Fire prevention, Social Communication, First aid and mobilization of injured individuals, Evacuation) and conducts safety drills to prepare for emergencies.
