The school offers International Baccalaureate programs. The IB programs are international and designed to be adaptable to any country, culture, creed, or language. The main focus of the IB programs is on the student, reflecting a constructivist approach. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is offered for children aged 3 to 11 and centers on the social, physical, emotional, and cultural development of the child, in addition to academics.
The facilities include a Music Lab for music education and performances. Art PYP spaces support visual arts within the IB framework. STEAM labs enable hands-on exploration across science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
The IB profile is international and designed to be adaptable to any country, culture, creed or language. IB programs are international and based on constructivism with a student-centered focus. PYP is one of the three IB programs offered and is for ages 3 to 11. It centers on the holistic development of the child, addressing social, physical, emotional, and cultural needs in addition to academics.
Extracurricular activities complement the Madison Monterrey education by promoting integral development and a balance between academics and sports. A great variety of activities is offered to help students experience and improve their physical abilities. Basketball is offered as an academy. Soccer and Taekwondo are also offered.
The school runs Mental Health Awareness Projects and Campaigns. Star Promise: Tell An Adult Right Away raises awareness about bullying and its impact on students' emotional wellbeing. Mental Health Campaign educates on socio-emotional needs, including diversity, respect, inclusion, and solidarity. Socio-Emotional Learning Program promotes CASEL core competencies—kindness, responsibility, honesty, respect, and reflection; School for Parents guides families on education, wellbeing, parenting, and mental health to build a conscious and informed community.
Madison Monterrey Campus is the first Madison Campus, founded in 1978, and is a private international school in Monterrey, Mexico serving students aged three to sixteen. The campus delivers an International Baccalaureate program: the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 3–11 and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for early adolescents, with a strong emphasis on inquiry, intercultural understanding, and real-world application. The Pre-School maintains 100% English instruction to support language immersion, while Elementary offers a bilingual English–Spanish program and a strong reading focus. The curriculum integrates technology to reinforce Math, Science, and Language, and includes dedicated labs for Music, Science, Art PYP, and STEAM. Facilities include a neuromotor gym, library, cafeteria, and outdoor fields for basketball and soccer. Beyond academics, the school runs Mental Health Awareness Projects, and a socio-emotional program, including Star Promise: Tell An Adult Right Away.
