Admissions

Admissions

1. Start the online admissions process. Register on the Prepa UDEM admissions platform and complete your online application. Create your profile with a personal student email and a password, then upload your personal and academic information and documents and select the prep track of interest. Download the commitment letter as a PDF, sign it by hand, and scan it back in PDF. If you are an international student interested in an exchange year or semester, the admissions path is different. 2. Present the exams and check your admission status. Ensure your online submission is complete and all documents are uploaded before scheduling tests. Bring a valid photo ID to the exams. Take the Aptitude Test (PAA) to evaluate math and verbal reasoning; the minimum score is 900. Take the English placement exam; minimum scores are 500 for Multicultural and 400 for Bicultural. The Admissions Committee will notify you of your admission status by email, and you can consult your advisor for more information. The calendar of exam dates and advising sessions is available. The link to schedule the PAA, English exam, and advising will be emailed once your file is complete and documents are validated, a process that can take 5–7 business days. 3. Make the initial deposit. After admission, pay 7,000 MXN as an initial deposit to confirm enrollment and secure your place; the deposit is credited toward your first semester tuition. Payment can be made in person at CIAA with a check, debit card, or credit card; online via the Portal UDEM; or by bank deposit using the deposit form at participating banks. The amount is non-refundable and the admissions capacity is limited by unit. If you have a scholarship, you still need to pay the initial deposit. 4. Make the enrollment payment. To complete your process and confirm enrollment, pay the enrollment fee via your preferred method (in person at CIAA, online via the Portal UDEM, or bank deposit). Starting in June, the Tuition Payment Coverage is included with each semester's charges, and Patrimonial Coverage provides for remaining payments if the person responsible for payments dies. General admission provisions require meeting the institution's current policies and criteria, including a minimum admission average of 80, calculated from grades in the first two years of secondary and the average of the third year; applicants have up to two opportunities to take the PAA and the English placement exam; the Admissions Committee's decision is final and the evaluation is confidential.
