English-language instruction uses the immersion method in Educational Centers and follows the British Columbia curriculum.

The British Columbia curriculum is used, evolving from the traditional Prescribed Learning Outcomes to a flexible, cross-disciplinary framework focused on six core competencies. English teaching involves daily speaking, listening, reading and writing, plus weekly drawing and viewing activities, spelling, sentence construction, grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, and role-play. Mathematics teaching uses vocabulary-dense instruction, with topics including formulas, measurement, geometry and finance, and includes short supplementary units to address weaknesses. Special subjects are designed around student interests with four main areas: Geography, culture and travel; Space; World exploration; and Animal diversity, Earth science and the environment.
