Billing schedule and payment terms
- Invoicing options: Monthly, Termly or Annually, chosen by the family. Termly fees use Annual / 3; Monthly fees use Annual / 10.
- Term invoicing schedule (ongoing students):
- Term 1 invoice: 1 June 2026 — due 1 July 2026.
- Term 2 invoice: 2 November 2026 — due 2 December 2026.
- Term 3 invoice: 1 March 2027 — due 1 April 2027.
- Monthly fees: invoiced 13 days before the month begins; payment due by the 2nd of the invoiced month.
- Renewal fee invoicing: invoiced 1 February (payment due by 26 February).
- Late payment penalties: 5% monthly compounded fine on payments past the due date; legal recovery costs and restricted access to certain school services may apply for overdue accounts. All fees must be received net of bank charges. Cash payments are not accepted in accordance with Portuguese legislation.
- Discounts: sibling discounts (10% for 2 siblings; 15% for 3; 20% for 4 or more). 3% discount on annual tuition if full annual payment is received by 1 July 2026. Discounts are void if fees are not paid according to the payment schedule.

Boarding fees
- Not applicable. International Sharing School – Madeira operates as a day school and does not charge boarding fees.

Other mandatory and optional costs
- Uniforms / welcome pack (mandatory for new students): Welcome pack prices — Early Years: EUR 185; PYP / MYP: EUR 225. Unit prices: Polo shirt EUR 25; T‑shirt EUR 15; Hoodie EUR 40; Jacket EUR 61; Hat EUR 18. PHE equipment pack EUR 80 (T‑shirt, shorts, trousers, hoodie).
- Yearbook: EUR 28 (issued with Term 1 invoice).
- Annual insurance: EUR 22 (issued with Term 1 invoice).
- School meals (if taken): EUR 150 per month; school meals are issued with the Term 1 invoice.
- Resource / stationery fees: PYP resource fee EUR 200; MYP & DP resource fee EUR 350. These are additional mandatory charges listed in the fee schedule.
- Examination fees: MYP examination fee EUR 800; DP examination fee EUR 850 (invoiced as scheduled in the fee documents).
- After‑school activities: offered at additional cost; each activity requires a full‑term commitment and the full term fee is payable even if the student withdraws before the end of the term.
- Student support (additional learning support): a fee may apply when extra educational psychologist–based interventions or specialist support are required; the amount is determined case‑by‑case.

Refund and withdrawal policy
- The Enrolment Fee and any payments made to the school are non‑refundable under any circumstance. If a student does not attend at the beginning of the school year, the Enrolment Fee and Term 1 fees are not refundable.
- Notice of withdrawal: parents/guardians must notify the school in writing at admissions@madeira.sharingschool.org one full term before the student's intended departure. Failure to give one full term's notice will result in charges for the subsequent term. Temporary suspensions or permanent expulsions do not entitle any refund.

Fee payment options and bank details
- Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer (student name and number must be included on the transfer); Debit/Credit card payments accepted in person at the school office (Visa and Mastercard); Educational vouchers accepted (Edenred, Coverflex, Ticket). A direct debit option is available; contact the school office for the direct debit authorisation form. Cash payments are not accepted.

International Sharing School Madeira (ISS Madeira) is an IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. English is the official language of instruction, and ISS Madeira serves a community representing over 35 nationalities. The IB curriculum uses an inquiry- and concept-based approach across subjects, with emphasis on language development. The Diploma Programme includes Language & Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals & Societies, Sciences, Mathematics and The Arts, with options such as English A, Portuguese A, and language acquisition subjects including Portuguese B, German B, French B and Spanish B. The DP core elements—Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge and CAS—encourage independent inquiry and personal growth, preparing students for university. The school's learning environments are flexible and student-centered, evolving from PYP to DP, with spaces such as Mountain Top, Cave, Campire, Watering Hole, Hands-On and Movement.
