Facilities Overview

The Agora Sant Cugat sites, together with Agora Patufet Infant School and Agora Pipo Infant School, have educational buildings adapted to the needs of each age group and discipline. The facilities promote a positive atmosphere and help pupils develop holistically, with modern, bright spaces including spacious classrooms, laboratories, computer rooms, playgrounds and a sports centre. The complex includes classrooms and laboratories, sports facilities, the Josep Carreras Auditorium, a library and unique spaces. A new Baccalaureate building opened in September 2025, a 1,959 m² four-storey campus with interactive classrooms, a library, a café and study areas, plus solar panels and climate control.

Sports Facilities

The school's facilities cover 13,715 m², enabling a wide range of sporting activities in attractive surroundings. All spaces are equipped for the sports on offer and adapted to pupils' needs. The main objective is to encourage pupils to develop sporting habits, follow the rules and learn the ins-and-outs of each sport, with the help of teachers who specialise in each sport. There are agreements with outside facilities such as CN Rubí swimming pool for swimming and competitions.

Academic Facilities

Classrooms and laboratories: Infant Education classrooms and dedicated spaces for psychomotricity, music, computer, psycho-pedagogy, unfolding or art; ICT classrooms with digital boards, tablets and netbooks; Technology and Robotics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories. Josep Carreras Auditorium: a large auditorium with modern technology used for music, conferences, theatre performances and educational events, seating 380 with dressing rooms, a grand piano, projector and sound system. Library: a resource fostering knowledge, reading and curiosity. Unique spaces: a vegetable garden and a weather station for environmental study. A new Baccalaureate building opened in September 2025, a 1,959 m² four-storey facility with interactive classrooms, a library, a café and study areas, plus solar panels and climate control.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Languages: Multilingualism is a distinctive element; Primary to Baccalaureate students can choose from English, German, French, Chinese and Portuguese. Music: a complete programme including musical language, orchestra, band, chamber music, choir, instrument classes, and individual or group singing. Sports: judo, athletics, chess, tennis, indoor football, football, paddle tennis, basketball, rhythmic gymnastics, dance, multi-sports, swimming, ballet in English, volleyball, handball, roller skating and figure skating. Visual and scenic arts: theatre and art in English. Science and technology: robotics, drones and videogames design, Fun science, Kids Brain and Lego Creative Space. Cooking: cooking classes. Academic support: individual and small-group classes, reinforcement, learning-to-learn, reading motivation, reading and writing reinforcement and the use of technology in learning.

Agora Sant Cugat International School operates across three campuses in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain. It delivers the International Baccalaureate continuum, with PYP authorised and programmes in MYP and DP, and offers a Bespoke Curriculum option. The school teaches in English, Spanish and Catalan as working languages, with Mandarin studied until the end of Primary and options to learn French or German in 5th Primary (or continue Chinese to Year 4 of secondary).
