Weekly tutoring sessions led by the class teacher give students the chance to be more self-aware, to better understand and manage their emotions, and to practice a wide variety of interpersonal skills.
Guidance works closely with teachers to identify students with potential learning needs, recommends psycho-pedagogical evaluations when necessary to determine the nature of the student's needs, and works with teachers to develop individual educational plans (IEP) when necessary. It offers individual and/or group support to students who require it and schedules meetings with families to get involved in the academic process of all the students.
English is used as a means of communication throughout the day by students and school personnel. Starting from Year 3 of primary school, our students' English proficiency is externally accredited by Cambridge Assessment English. The constant interaction with a multicultural teaching team, who have lived and worked in foreign countries, helps students develop an excellent knowledge and understanding of Anglo-Saxon culture as well as the English language.
The emotional well-being of students is of crucial importance; the school's priority is to ensure they are happy and feel safe so that learning can happen naturally.
