Languages taught include Spanish, English, Catalan and German. English is taught with Cambridge ESOL certifications from Primary through Baccalaureate, with five hours of English per week and progression through exams (YLE, KET, PET, FCE, CAE, C2 Proficiency). German is taught from age 3, with Goethe Institut certification options and on-campus exams. The school is an official examination centre for Cambridge ESOL and Goethe Institut exams.
The school follows a bilingual model with classes taught in Spanish and English. The Spanish curriculum is enriched with globally respected methodologies, and the school supports multilingual development beyond these two languages. Students achieve full proficiency in Spanish, English, Catalan and German. Students can obtain official language certifications in English (Cambridge ESOL) and German (Goethe Institut) on campus.
German is taught within the curriculum from age 3. There is an exchange programme with the Montessori Zentrum Angell in Freiburg, Germany for Secondary School students, providing language immersion experiences. Colegio Mestral is a private secular school in Ibiza, Spain, serving students from age 3 to 18.
