San Patricio has educated tens of thousands of young people in Madrid since 1958. The Serrano campus opened in 1958, with San Patricio El Soto following in 1967; La Moraleja opened in 1983. Founders were Luisa Murias, Luz Murias, Jaime Marugán and Gabriel Castellano, who formed the first Governing Board. Since the first external examinations in 1984, students have achieved top results, and the school has received recognitions such as Forbes' Top 10 Best 100 Schools in Spain and El Mundo naming it the Number 1 School in Spain. In 2019, Colegio San Patricio Madrid joined the Inspired Education Group, and in 2021 Forbes recognised CSP Madrid as a top 10 school in Spain while El Mundo ranked it Number 1 in 2022.
Social Responsibility is part of San Patricio's program. It teaches students about the importance of solidarity and encourages community service to help those in need. San Patricio promotes volunteer programmes for families and students, such as supporting St Patrick's School in Turkana, Kenya, building homes for the elderly, and more.
Colégio San Patricio Madrid is a Catholic day school for ages 1 to 18 across three Madrid campuses: Serrano and La Moraleja for Early Years and Primary, and El Soto for Secondary and High School. The school offers a bilingual education in Nursery and Primary and provides International Baccalaureate programmes (PYP, MYP, DP) from secondary onwards, with English, Spanish, French and German taught by native speakers. Facilities span the campuses, including Early Learning areas, science and technology labs, the San Patricio Art Centre, two libraries, auditoriums, a chapel, a radio studio and extensive sports spaces. Since joining Inspired Education Group in 2019, CSP Madrid has grown within a global network and earned recognitions from Forbes and El Mundo. Signature features include the San Patricio Art Centre, Inspired Metaverse VR School Rooms, and a broad co-curricular programme of debate, sports, music, drama and community service for international-minded learners and families.
