History

El Altillo International School is approved by the Ministry of Education and Science (MEC) to offer education from Year 1 to the second year of the Spanish Bachillerato course. The Digital Manufacturing Workshop is a member of the world Fab Lab network. The school is an ISP School within the International Schools Partnership (ISP) network. ISP collaboration builds confidence in students, empowers teachers and leaders and strengthens the school community. It is a place where confidence grows.

Community

The school is part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP) network, a global collaboration that connects ISP member schools and families. ISP programs include ISP Artists, ISP Changemakers, ISP Chess Masters, ISP Cultural Exchange, ISP Scientists, ISP Filmmakers, ISP Virtual Exchange and ISP Model United Nations. The School Houses system extends to families, helping to build a strong sense of community and belonging.

El Altillo International School in Spain educates students from ages 1 to 18 with a trilingual program in Spanish, English and French from early years to the Baccalaureate. In Early Years, 1 to 5, the International Early Years Curriculum guides language learning through play and discovery. Primary School, ages 5 to 12, uses the International Primary Curriculum, providing immersive languages, hands on projects and creative exploration. Secondary School, ages 12 to 16, follows IB Middle Years Programme, emphasizing thinking and leadership through robotics, debate, sport and arts, with a Gifted and Talented Programme run with Talentum. Baccalaureate, ages 16 to 18, integrates the National Baccalaureate with the IB Diploma Programme. The school is approved by the MEC, part of the International Schools Partnership network, and hosts a Fab Lab and Jr. Maker Space for hands on STEM learning. Cambridge English exams and translanguaging underpin daily practice and future readiness globally.
