How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

Admisión KINDER — STEP 1: INFORMATION REQUEST
If you have any questions or would like more information, fill out the following form and we will contact you.

STEP 2: VISIT THE SCHOOL
You will learn firsthand about the educational project tailored to each stage of schooling, and a tour of the facilities will be provided while any questions are answered.

STEP 3: ADMISSION APPLICATION
After the interview at the school, you can complete the admission application through the provided form.

STEP 4: ADMISSION CONFIRMATION
There is a formal notification of the student's admission from Guadalaviar School.

STEP 5: ENROLLMENT
Once admission is communicated, you will receive an email with the details to pay the seat reservation. The enrollment form is completed at this time, requesting supporting information, direct debit authorisation, allergies or dietary intolerances, and additional student data.

STEP 2: EDUCATION DEPARTMENT ADMISSIONS CALENDAR
The Admissions Calendar for Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education and Bachillerato for the upcoming 2025-26 academic year has been published.

STEP 3: ADMISSION APPLICATION
From the Conselleria portal the admission application can be completed electronically.

STEP 4: ADMISSION DECISION
On the dates established the list of admitted students will be published, initially provisionally and later the definitive list.

STEP 5: ENROLLMENT
The enrollment is a telematic procedure carried out on the same portal.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

XARXA LLIBRES
What is it? A voluntary program for reuse, replacement and renewal of textbooks and curricular material for Primary, Secondary and Bachillerato.
How does it work? In 1st and 2nd year of Primary, the aid is received as a voucher to purchase the books, as the material is not reusable. The voucher covers part of the total value of the books. For the remaining courses, Xarxa llibres assigns each student a batch of books belonging to the network, on loan.

AID FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL NEEDS FOR SUPPORT
The call for 2025-2026 assistance for students with specific educational support needs has been published. Application window: April 30, 2025 to September 11, 2025.

BECAS Y AYUDAS
Becas de comedor
The Department of Education published in the DOGV the resolution calling for School Meal Assistance for non-university public and privately funded centers for the 2024-2025 school year. Information, instructions and application: available via the Generalitat Valenciana.

AYUDAS AL ESTUDIO
General scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year for students pursuing post‑compulsory studies: Vocational Training, Bachillerato and University studies. Application period: March 24, 2025 at 08:00 to May 14, 2025 at 15:00.

FUNDACIÓN INICIATIVA SOCIAL
Call for Aid 2025/2026
Application deadline: Thursday, June 19, 2025. Purpose: Aids to cover school costs at Infantil, Primaria and Secundaria levels (including Bachillerato). Also available to students in Formación Profesional Básica or Intermediate Vocational Training. General age limit is 18. Geographic scope: students in centers in the Valencia Community and the Region of Murcia. Application through appfundaciones.eu platform. To apply you need: 1) create a user on the platform; 2) provide applicant data; 3) you may request aid for the children you wish.

Guadalaviar School is a Catholic, coeducational institution in Valencia with roots dating to 1959. Serving ages 2 to 18, it educates Early Childhood through Bachillerato, using English, Valencian and Spanish to teach all subjects from age 3. In Kindergarten, classes are taught in Spanish, English and Valencian in roughly equal shares. From Primary, English is taught daily, and from 4th grade a second level of English is available. The school offers Cambridge English examinations and was the first in Valencia to host a Cambridge Young Learners Centre. It participates in the Eduspark reading program and German is offered in the upper years. Facilities include a year-round pool, three basketball courts, two gyms, science labs, ICT suites, a large library and an urban garden. Guadalaviar also runs a community program, Guadalaviar Solidario, and a broad array of clubs and language activities. Its multilingual environment supports diverse learners and international families worldwide.
