Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

Admission is open all year round, provided there is a place available in the year group you have applied for. A staff member will respond with available dates and times and provide initial guidance about the school's education model. This step starts the enrollment process and ensures you receive the most current information about openings.

Visit the school. A visit to the school will be arranged to explain the educational project, show you around the facilities and answer any questions you may have. This step helps families understand fit and program details before applying. The visit is an opportunity to become familiar with the bilingual, international project and environment.

Entrance Exams. Entrance exams are administered for applicants from Primary 1. The testing date is scheduled in coordination with the family. The exams determine eligibility for admission and assess readiness.

Admission. A decision is communicated within 7 days of the exam. Acceptance is contingent on meeting admission criteria. Families are given details on next steps.

Registration. Registration must be completed within 5 days. The registration form and required documents must be submitted, along with payment of the reconfirmation of place fee. After submission, families receive welcome information about school operations.

Iale International School is a private day school in Spain offering education for ages 1 to 18 in a bilingual English–Spanish environment. Founded in 1967, it delivers National and International Baccalaureate curricula, including the American Dual Diploma taught in English. The IB Diploma Programme is designed for students aged 16 to 18, while the Dual Diploma combines the Spanish Baccalaureate with an American High School Diploma. English is used as a vehicular language in many subjects, with a third language available in primary and secondary phases (Mandarin, French, Valenciano, and German). The campus spans 45,000 square metres of facilities around gardens and sports areas and is undergoing refurbishment to create spaces that connect every area of learning with the outdoors. Apple Distinguished School recognition reflects its technology emphasis, including programming, robotics, AR, drones and 3D printing. The environment is guided by neuroscience studies and it offers university guidance and a music program with Suzuki and Willems methods.
