Iale International School was founded in 1967 by the Monzonís Marín family. It provides a bilingual English–Spanish education and includes additional languages such as French, Mandarin and German. The school supports students from infancy through university and emphasizes values, alongside academic and personal development. As of 2026, Iale has 59 years of education.
The Iale community participates in charitable work through an annual CAMPAÑA SOLIDARIA that raises funds for community organisations, including Fundación Vicente Ferrer. The school also engages in inter-school competitions and events such as the Luis Monzonís Memorial, and offers clubs and activities including swimming, skating, and other extracurriculars. Activities extend to sport, culture and technology through the Iale 3.0 platform, which enhances communication among parents, students and teachers.
The school has a Parents and Mothers Association (Asociación de Padres y Madres) created to offer continuity of studies for families in case of death of one or both progenitors. The annual voluntary fee is €96 for the first child, €78 for each additional child, and €50 for the third and fourth siblings. This association covers 75% of teaching, meals and transport costs (when used) and 100% of place reconfirmation, textbooks and digital licenses, with the school covering the remaining 25% of teaching costs.
Iale International School is a private day school in Spain offering education for ages 1 to 18 in a bilingual English–Spanish environment. Founded in 1967, it delivers National and International Baccalaureate curricula, including the American Dual Diploma taught in English. The IB Diploma Programme is designed for students aged 16 to 18, while the Dual Diploma combines the Spanish Baccalaureate with an American High School Diploma. English is used as a vehicular language in many subjects, with a third language available in primary and secondary phases (Mandarin, French, Valenciano, and German). The campus spans 45,000 square metres of facilities around gardens and sports areas and is undergoing refurbishment to create spaces that connect every area of learning with the outdoors. Apple Distinguished School recognition reflects its technology emphasis, including programming, robotics, AR, drones and 3D printing. The environment is guided by neuroscience studies and it offers university guidance and a music program with Suzuki and Willems methods.
