Academic and Intellectual

Kensington School uses a British curriculum with English language immersion from 12 months old, delivered by native teachers who teach both the English and Spanish curricula. The school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and IGCSE as part of its qualifications. In 2025, IBDP results included an average point score of 34 and a highest diploma score of 44, with 53% earning bilingual IBDP. IGCSE results for 2025 showed 41% scoring A, 58% scoring A-A, and 78% scoring A-B. PAU 2025 results reported a 100% pass rate, with a highest score out of 14 and other performance indicators such as a 62% rate of scores above 11 and an average score of 8.22 out of 10.

Arts and Creative

A wide range of extracurricular activities related to music, art, technology, sports and public-speaking is offered to discover and enhance passions and talents. The campus provides a Music Room and an Art Room to support creative pursuits. The school supports arts and creative projects through dedicated facilities and spaces. Participants develop perseverance, resilience, behaviour management and self-confidence through these activities.

Cultural and Language

Inspired's Global Exchange Programme offers students the opportunity to travel to other countries and work alongside peers at other schools around the world. Students develop social, language and academic skills while broadening their perspectives through exchange experiences. Inspired's International Summer Camps provide additional intercultural experiences.

Social and Hobbies

Extracurricular activities include music, art, technology, sports and public-speaking. These activities offer opportunities to discover and nurture passions and talents. Participation helps develop perseverance, resilience, behaviour management and self-confidence.

Community and Service

In PSHE classes, students follow the English ICARE values of Integrity, Cooperation, Acceptance, Respect and Empathy as part of a values-based social education. In Years 7 to 9, students study the English National Curriculum Citizenship course, which covers democracy, gender equality, tolerance and education on alcohol and drugs. The Travesía social programme supports inclusive recreation, volunteering and mentoring roles, guided by School Psychologists and the Computing Department, with pastoral support through assemblies and tutorials.

Leadership and Professional

There is a strong focus on university access, with one in three Inspired students progressing to Russell Group and Ivy League universities. In-school college and career counsellors support students with university qualifications and requirements. Inspired partners Arete Educational Consulting and The Classroom Door provide university admissions counselling, tutoring and related services to enhance students' applications, including guidance on summer jobs, extracurricular participation and admissions exams.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The campus features a football pitch, interior gymnasium, a large sports court and other sports facilities, along with laboratories, a library, an auditorium, a Music Room and an Art Room to support wellbeing and holistic development. The school emphasizes values-based education through its PSHE and ICARE framework, with workshops on coexistence, good behaviour, online safety and responsible use of social networks, supported by School Psychologists and the Computing Department. Pastoral support is ongoing through assemblies and tutorials from reception onwards.

Kensington School Madrid is a British international day school serving ages 1 to 18. The campus in Pozuelo de Alarcón combines the English National Curriculum with options to study under the Spanish system in the later stages, and offers the Cambridge IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme from September 2023. English and Spanish are core language studies, with French as a third language, and senior students may choose the Kensington Bachillerato pathway, which reinforces language study and leads to Cambridge Proficiency and DELF B2 certificates.
