The Lycée Français Molière Zaragoza was founded in 1972. It opened its first classes on Ram de Viu Street with a small group of students and has since grown to about 1,100 pupils at its current Actur location. It was established by an association of several parents from a French petroleum company in Zaragoza who wanted to preserve their cultural roots for their children. Since 1999, students graduate with a double diploma in Spanish and French. It is a member of the Mission Laïque Française network and its teaching is homologated, making it a reference educational center in Aragon and the province's first international school according to El Mundo.
The school maintains an active community through Blog Molière, pedagogical blogs, a school newsletter, a Web radio, the RAM alumni network, and Molière Partners. It hosts open days (Puertas Abiertas) inviting families to visit, with a 2025 open day scheduled for March 15, 2025. ZARAMUN 2025, the Model United Nations, took place from January 31 to February 2, 2025, at the school and the Palacio de la Infanta, bringing together more than 180 delegates from across Europe with debates in French, English, and Spanish on the theme 'the dilemmas of humanity: borders, justice and ethics, building the future of the world'. A virtual tour of the facilities is also available.
The Association of Parents of Lycée Français Molière Zaragoza (APE) organizes extracurricular activities for all students; these activities can be consulted on the school's website and in the activities catalog via the linked page. The APE page links to apemoliere.org for more information. Families can engage with the school through the APE and access related resources on the site's Association de parents page.
