Introduction

Mas Camarena International School is a multilingual private school offering the International Baccalaureate continuum from early years to the baccalaureate, complemented by a Spanish curriculum and international training. The Primary Years Programme guides students in the primary years while the Middle Years Programme serves the secondary level; at the upper levels, students can pursue the Diploma Programme and the Career-related Programme. The Diploma Programme is offered in Spanish, English, or bilingual mode, reflecting multilingual education. Since 2015-16, Mas Camarena has offered Diploma Programme and is the only school in Valencia with all four IB programmes active. - First-year enrollment (non‑refundable): EUR 550 for the first child; EUR 400 for each additional sibling.

Note: Tuition is charged as an annual amount and is invoiced in 10 equal monthly installments (September–June). The monthly installment equals the annual fee divided by 10.

Classroom / didactic / technology resources fees

- These are charged in three annual payments (October, February and April). Amounts by stage: 1st cycle Infants: EUR 65; 2nd cycle Infants (PEP): EUR 115; Primary (PEP): EUR 115; Secondary (PAI): EUR 100; National Baccalaureate: EUR 100; IB Diploma Programme: EUR 100. These fees cover classroom consumables, pedagogical resources, cultural visits and accident insurance (do not include textbooks or student devices).

Canteen / School meals

- Annual contract administration fee for the canteen: EUR 190 per year. Daily lunch menu: EUR 12 per day. Canteen is mandatory for all stages (except local residents registered as living on site). Infant stage includes an afternoon snack.

Transport (optional)

Transport fees depend on route and whether service is annual or monthly, and whether it is round‑trip or one‑way. Typical published charges are:

- Urban Mas Camarena & Torre en Conill: Annual round‑trip EUR 85; Annual one‑way EUR 60; Monthly round‑trip EUR 115; Monthly one‑way EUR 85.
- Urban La Cañada & El Plantío: Annual round‑trip EUR 125; Annual one‑way EUR 90; Monthly round‑trip EUR 160; Monthly one‑way EUR 115.
- Valencia and other localities: Annual round‑trip EUR 180; Annual one‑way EUR 110; Monthly round‑trip EUR 220; Monthly one‑way EUR 145.

Student residence / boarding

- Student residence (double room) with full board (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner) and transport to school: EUR 1,950 per month (Monday through Sunday). The residence price includes full board and transport.

Extended hours and occasional day services

- Extended hours (annual contracting): single session (morning or afternoon) EUR 75 per month; mornings and afternoons EUR 100 per month.
- Extended hours (monthly contracting): single session EUR 95 per month; mornings and afternoons EUR 125 per month.
- Single extra day of extended hours: EUR 8 per day.

Sibling discounts

- Two siblings (with contracted canteen and transport): 10% discount on tuition for the younger sibling.
- Three siblings: 35% discount on tuition for the younger sibling and 20% discount on the canteen for the younger sibling.
- Four siblings: the youngest sibling's tuition is free.

Other costs and school shop / uniform

- Uniform is required for all stages. Uniforms and school stationery are purchased through the school shop. Specific uniform and stationery prices are set by the school shop and billed separately.

Refund and cancellation terms

- Enrollment fees and annual renewal fees are non‑refundable. Once a student is enrolled, if the family cannot join for reasons beyond the centre's control, the amount paid for enrollment cannot be reclaimed. No deductions or refunds are made for absence, illness or non‑attendance. Refund of an early full‑course payment (if returned) results in loss of any early‑payment discount. Two unpaid monthly receipts may lead to termination of the teaching contract and loss of the student's place.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Teaching fees, canteen and transport are invoiced in 10 equal monthly instalments (September–June). Receipts are collected by direct debit and are due within the first five days of each month. Changes to contracted services must be communicated before the 25th of the month to take effect the following month. Payments are to be made by direct debit to a Spanish bank account; the school also allows advance payment of the full course before 15 September with a 2% discount. Failure to pay invoices on time can lead to administrative actions up to contract termination.

Fee payment options

- Primary payment method: domiciliation bancaria (direct debit) on a Spanish bank account; the school provides forms to authorize direct debit and to set monthly or quarterly collection.
- Advance full payment of the annual tuition is accepted (payment before 15 September) and carries a published early‑payment discount (2%). For certain short programmes and external activities, payments by bank transfer are used to formalize registration. No published routine option for payment by credit card is indicated in the school's prescribed billing terms.

Curriculum

Mas Camarena offers the International Baccalaureate continuum from early years to the baccalaureate. Primary School follows the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Secondary follows the Middle Years Programme (MYP). The Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP) are offered at the upper levels, with DP available 100% in Spanish, 100% in English, or bilingual. It has offered the Diploma Programme since the 2015-16 academic year and is the only school in Valencia with all four IB programmes active. The IB approach is transdisciplinary and emphasizes inquiry-based learning, intercultural understanding, and the development of skills for higher education.

Exam Results

Excellent results in Selectividad and the Diploma Programme endorse the school's Educational Project. The school has earned the best PAU grade in the Valencian Community on seven occasions in the last nine years.

Mas Camarena is a multilingual private school with a Spanish curriculum and international training. It is part of the Siglo XXI Group of Schools, established in 1962 as a family-run education network that includes charter schools, private IB schools and nurseries. Mas Camarena began in 1997 as a small kindergarten and elementary school and has since expanded with extensive facilities, including the Students' Resort Mas Camarena, to support its educational program.
