All lessons are taught in English. Spanish is compulsory for all children; German or French is offered as a third language from Year 7. Spanish native students follow courses in Spanish and Catalan languages and Spanish social sciences. TEFL and EAL support are available to help non-native English speakers access the curriculum.
Morna International College is an international school in Ibiza, Spain, offering a British-style education for ages 3 to 18. It broadly follows the English National Curriculum with an international focus, delivering all lessons in English while Spanish is compulsory and German or French is available as a third language from Year 7. In upper secondary, students prepare for Cambridge IGCSEs and A-Levels, with flexible numbers and levels of qualifications to suit individual paths to higher education worldwide. The school is an accredited Cambridge University and Edexcel examination centre, with over 500 pupils progressing to A-Levels and universities worldwide. The Santa Gertrudis campus is spacious and tranquil, with facilities for Early Years through Secondary, including science labs, art rooms (with a photographic dark room), a music room with recording annex, a design technology room, and a library. IT is well developed, with interactive screens and high bandwidth; students use laptops or iPads. Outdoor spaces include two large sport courts, a fitness trail, and a garden with a pond and hens; on-site kitchens provide meals.
