Languages taught within the school day are English, French, German, Chinese, Spanish, and Galician. English is heavily integrated across levels: more than 70% of teaching hours in English in Early Childhood, with 92% of an official school day (25 hours) conducted in English; more than 50% of teaching hours in English in Primary, with 68% of the 25-hour day in English; and between 40% and 60% of subjects taught in English in Compulsory Secondary Education.
The school has bilingual education, with a high proportion of classes taught in English. English is integrated across the curriculum across levels.
Language immersion is provided through the Nursery Immersion School, with an English-language immersion environment starting from Early Years 1 (0-1 year old). The new nursery will open in September 2026 and is located at Calle Vicente Vázquez Queipo, 18, in A Coruña. Pillars of the project include a Comprehensive Educational Project; Language Immersion; and 100% Organic Nutrition.
Obradoiro School is an international, non-denominational institution in Galicia, Spain, serving ages 0–18. It delivers the IB continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) alongside a French Curriculum. English and Spanish are the languages of instruction; more than 70% of teaching hours are in English and 92% of the 25-hour week is conducted in English. The Conservatorio Profesional de Música is integrated on campus, with 17 instruments and ensembles including orchestra and a Big Band. The campus spans over 32,000 m2, with 10,800 m2 built, dedicated music rooms, a computing lab, a conference hall, and EcoKitchen. Facilities include a heated indoor pool, multiple sports facilities, and Gym Lab. The school offers exchanges and English-certification opportunities such as the Oxford Test of English. IB authorization for PYP (2015), MYP (2018) and DP (2019) mark milestones alongside CESUGA partnerships and a 2024 upgrade of curricula and facilities.
