St. Anne's School was established in 1969 by Miss Margaret Jean Raines. It is a co-educational independent school providing a British education for children aged one to eighteen in Madrid. The school is located on Avenida Alfonso XIII in Chamartín, Madrid. It uses a broad curriculum based on the British National Curriculum, with attention to the Spanish language and culture as part of international schooling. All teaching staff are qualified British teachers and the school follows a British management model with a Principal, Heads of Primary and Secondary, and subject coordinators; St. Anne's is a founder member of NABSS and is inspected by NABSS and the Spanish Ministry of Education.
