AGS has a formal uniform policy. Students wear an official white shirt and approved bottoms on assembly days and non-formal attire (dark blue polo) on other days, with an AGS PE kit for physical education. Grade-specific items include an AGS cap for Pre-KG to Grade 3 and, for High School, a scarf, tie, and formal jacket; assembly-day uniforms are assigned by grade (KG—Thursday; Primary 1–5—Tuesday; Middle 6–8—Wednesday; High School 9–12—Monday).
AGS operates an on-site canteen. Monthly menus are published on the Canteen section, with a January 2026 menu available for download. The site does not specify particular dietary options beyond the published menus.
AGS runs a house system with four houses: Falcon, Oryx, Gazelle, and Scorpion. House Leaders oversee house activities and inter-house competitions, as described in the Student Leadership section.
AGS is owned by American Gulf School LLC. The admissions process page lists the bank account name as American Gulf School LLC, indicating LLC ownership.
