Academic Co-Curriculars include student governance and leadership, musical and drama activities, speech and debate, academic competitions, and academic-support field trips. These offerings support the IB requirements for Action (PYP), Service as Action (MYP), and CAS in the DP.
Musical and drama activities are part of Academic Co-Curriculars, complementing a broad program of arts and performance. Enrichment clubs may include arts and crafts, book clubs, UAE cultural clubs, volunteer initiatives, chess, and other creative pursuits; after-school activities (ASA) run eight-week blocks for Grades 1–12.
UAE cultural heritage is celebrated through events such as Quran and Al Hadeeth Recital competitions, National Day activities, and other cultural celebrations. Academic weeks and cultural events include Entrepreneurship Week, Arts Week, Arabic Language Week, and the International Book Fair.
Enrichment Clubs and Activities include arts and crafts, book clubs, UAE cultural clubs, volunteer initiatives, chess, and other interest-based activities. After-school activities occur outside regular class time, with the ASA program offering eight-week sessions, supervised by an adult sponsor.
Global Citizenship and Community Engagement events foster international awareness, service learning, and social responsibility. Examples include International Day, Earth Day, Mother's Day, Teacher's Day, and various service initiatives and community engagement projects.
Academic Co-Curriculars include student governance and leadership roles. A campus PTA supports planning student activities and fostering school-community partnerships.
Athletics offer a range of age-level teams and competitions, including basketball, rugby, martial arts, volleyball, soccer, swimming, and track and field. The After-School Activities (ASA) program runs for eight weeks, enabling students to explore interests beyond the regular day.
Emirates National School Ras Al Khaimah is part of the Emirates National Schools network, established by Presidential Decree and opened in 2002. The Ras Al Khaimah campus offers the American curriculum and is an IB World School delivering the full IB continuum (PYP, MYP, DP). The school aligns UAE MOE standards for Arabic, Islamic Studies and UAE Studies with the Colorado Academic Standards for English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Visual and Performing Arts, Physical Education, Computer Science and Social Studies. AP courses are available for Grades 11–12, and IB Diploma Programme courses for Grades 11–12 prepare students for external exams; the IB Diploma or IB Course Certificates may be awarded in addition to the ENS diploma. Five ENS campuses offer the IB continuum. The school promotes Global Citizenship and Community Engagement through service initiatives and UAE cultural events; ASA runs eight-week blocks for Grades 1–12. This combination supports students pursuing diverse international opportunities.
