The school supports social-emotional learning through formal Wellbeing practices and student-led initiatives. The campuses organize annual Activity Plans, Student Councils, and external activities, and engage students in in-school campus enhancements to promote wellbeing. Counseling and school support services are provided to enable students to refer to a trusted professional advisor or social worker as needed to support their wellbeing and development.
Inclusion Policy – Gifted and Talented provides a differentiated and challenging curriculum with opportunities for students to develop their gifts and talents. The Assessment and Grading Policy notes that Students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities may require learning support through an Individualized Education Plan or Individualized Learning Plan, with accommodations or modifications tailored to each learner. The policy emphasizes collaboration with parents and a commitment to inclusive learning environments.
The Language Policy requires English to be studied for 70% of the school day and Modern Standard Arabic for 30%, with a goal of biliteracy in English and Arabic. It emphasizes language for communication and learning and provides supports for second language learners through universal design for learning guidelines to facilitate access to the curriculum.

Emirates National Schools has a Child Protection & Safeguarding Policy with a clear commitment to protecting students at all times, including on campus, during transport, and in school activities. The policy enforces zero tolerance of maltreatment, requires staff to report suspected abuse, supports safer recruitment, provides safeguarding training, maintains safe and secure campuses, and ensures channels for the child's voice while complying with UAE laws and local authorities.
Emirates National School Ras Al Khaimah is part of the Emirates National Schools network, established by Presidential Decree and opened in 2002. The Ras Al Khaimah campus offers the American curriculum and is an IB World School delivering the full IB continuum (PYP, MYP, DP). The school aligns UAE MOE standards for Arabic, Islamic Studies and UAE Studies with the Colorado Academic Standards for English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Visual and Performing Arts, Physical Education, Computer Science and Social Studies. AP courses are available for Grades 11–12, and IB Diploma Programme courses for Grades 11–12 prepare students for external exams; the IB Diploma or IB Course Certificates may be awarded in addition to the ENS diploma. Five ENS campuses offer the IB continuum. The school promotes Global Citizenship and Community Engagement through service initiatives and UAE cultural events; ASA runs eight-week blocks for Grades 1–12. This combination supports students pursuing diverse international opportunities.
