Ignite School opened in September 2018 in Dubai as a private, co-educational institution. It is owned by Wedad Saada and is governed by a Board of Trustees comprising eight members. The school is located at Street No. 414, Al Warqa'a 3, Dubai. The curriculum is American, aligned with the New York State Common Core standards, and integrates UAE Arabic, Islamic Education, and UAE Social Studies.
Ignite School emphasizes a welcoming, family-centered community. The Director notes that students feel happy, accepted, safe and valued, with parents as integral partners in their child's success. The school hosts and participates in events and celebrates cultural and community activities, with school news highlighting Gulf News coverage and other community engagements. The student body represents over 70 nationalities and speaks more than 30 languages, with English as the medium of communication.
Ignite School has a Parents Association in which all parents are members and contribute as volunteers. The association coordinates social events, clubs and committees to enrich student life; there are no joining fees. A Parent Liaison Coordinator sits on the Board of Trustees to strengthen family engagement. The association is led by President Mrs. Amany Mezher, and inquiries can be directed to parent.association@igniteschool.ae. Parent contributions and volunteer efforts are valued as part of the school community.
