Directed study sessions are offered to CE1–CM2 pupils after school from 15:30 to 16:30, with an optional extension to 17:00. There are two formulas: a 16:30 exit at £9.50 per session and a 17:00 exit at £11.50 per session. Reservations must be made in advance via the SchoolGateway app, and places are limited to 35 pupils. Morning club runs 8:00–8:50 and after-school club runs 15:30–17:00, with sessions including cultural, recreational, or sports activities; unbooked sessions incur a £10 charge.
The school runs more than 20 after-school clubs through the APEEF association, covering sports, culture, and the arts. Sports clubs include football, tennis, handball, karate, dance, and yoga. Cultural activities include English, a science club, and choir, while artistic workshops, a cooking club, and a chess club are also offered. Clubs are run by parent volunteers under the supervision of APEEF.
The school supplements its French education with an English program of excellence. The program covers poetry, formal letters, narrative and persuasive writing, and a wide range of texts. Phonetics are taught systematically from CP to CE2, with reading and writing in English starting from CE1. From CP onward, students are grouped by skill level to tailor learning, and many pupils join the international section of Lycée Français Charles-de-Gaulle.
The school provides after-school clubs offering cultural, recreational, and sports activities. Clubs include football, tennis, handball, karate, dance, yoga, English, science club, choir, artistic workshops, cooking, and chess. Clubs are run by parent volunteers under the supervision of the APEEF.
The school supports inter-class and inter-school athletic events. There is an annual charity run to raise funds for a charitable association. The athletics and sports programs engage the school community through these events.
All students participate in three hours of physical education each week. The program includes swimming, and depending on level, climbing, circus, skating, and acrosport, using nearby facilities and specialists. Teaching and activities are delivered in either French or English and are complemented by a wide range of after-school clubs.
École Française de Londres Jacques Prévert is a French international school in London, affiliated with AEFE and homologated by the French Ministry of Education. It serves pupils aged 3 to 11, covering Cycle 1 (PS–MS–GS) to Cycle 3 (CM1–CM2), with the 6ème included for a smooth move to secondary education. The curriculum is French national programs, with enhanced English language instruction to meet British requirements. From nursery, English is taught for about 4.5–5.5 hours per week; phonics are introduced from CP to CE2; English reading and writing begin in CE1; English-language projects run across subjects, and some sciences are taught in English. Students benefit from bilingual projects and a program that prepares them for education in both French and English after CM2. Facilities include two libraries and arts and sports offerings. The campus uses venues for swimming, climbing, and bike-ability. APEEF clubs and after-school care support a strong community life.
