English is the language of instruction; every year students take English courses as Language and Literature or Language Acquisition, with English Language Development support for non-native speakers. All languages taught in the MYP (Languages A and B) and DP (Languages A, B and ab initio) are delivered by native-speaking teachers. The school actively supports mother-tongue development with scheduled Language A instruction in Mandarin, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Spanish for Grades 9-12, and mother-tongue support for Grades 6-8. DP may pursue additional languages such as Arabic, Czech, Italian, Polish and Russian via external tutors under supervision.

Marymount International School London is an independent Catholic day and boarding school for girls aged 11–18, on a seven-acre campus in Kingston upon Thames, about 12 miles from central London. It is an IB World School offering the IB Middle Years Programme (ages 11–16) and the IB Diploma Programme (ages 16–19). The Diploma Programme uses six subject groups, three HL and three SL, plus TOK, the Extended Essay and CAS; the EE can be written in seven languages. The MYP provides eight subject groups, a Personal Project and a focus on concept-based learning, contexts and Service as Action. The curriculum develops language skills with mother-tongue support. Facilities include Performing Arts spaces; Art and Design Studios with a kiln, 3D printers, a laser cutter and MacBooks with Adobe Creative Suite.
