Founded in 1955 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM). Marymount International School London is part of a global network directed by the RSHM. The campus sits on a seven-acre idyllic garden campus in Kingston upon Thames, twelve miles from London. The school is an IB World School.
The Marymount London Network is a global alumnae mentoring and professional network. It includes alumnae, past parents, past staff, and governors as members and has more than 8,000 entries on its database. Marymount London hosts a range of community events through The Marymount Society London, including open days and alumnae reunions in London. Alumnae reunions are held in London, such as the London Alumnae Reunion.
Marymount International School London is an independent Catholic day and boarding school for girls aged 11–18, on a seven-acre campus in Kingston upon Thames, about 12 miles from central London. It is an IB World School offering the IB Middle Years Programme (ages 11–16) and the IB Diploma Programme (ages 16–19). The Diploma Programme uses six subject groups, three HL and three SL, plus TOK, the Extended Essay and CAS; the EE can be written in seven languages. The MYP provides eight subject groups, a Personal Project and a focus on concept-based learning, contexts and Service as Action. The curriculum develops language skills with mother-tongue support. Facilities include Performing Arts spaces; Art and Design Studios with a kiln, 3D printers, a laser cutter and MacBooks with Adobe Creative Suite. The campus features boarding houses with meals provided and learning-support. Marymount is connected to the RSHM network and an international community.
