Languages are at the core of the curriculum. All students study three languages in the First Form (out of six offered): Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, German, and Latin. Students whose mother tongue is not English may sit public exams in their mother tongue.

Whitgift School is an independent day and boarding school for boys aged 10 to 18 in Croydon, United Kingdom.
