The Colegio Alemán de Guadalajara is located at Bosques de los Cedros No. 32, Zapopan, Jalisco. It provides a cafeteria service from 07:30 to 16:00 hours through an external provider, a library for reading, research, and group work, and a health service with two nurses and a full‑time paramedic. Transportation is provided by an external provider contracted by the APF. The school is part of the German Schools Abroad network, and maintains a campus environment focused on German-language and bilingual education.

The school is part of the German Schools Abroad network, with over 140 institutions worldwide. It offers Cambridge certifications and the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Diploma, Diploma GIB), as well as DSD I and DSD II German language certifications. DaF – Curriculum German as a Foreign Language and the Schilf Konzept DS Guadalajara guide German-language instruction as part of a 15‑year educational project. It operates under a Safe School program.
Robotics and technology programs include MakeX and Robomatrix Jr. Nacional competitions; in May, 4th–6th graders tested their programming skills in MakeX missions in Mexico City. In November, 21 students participated in Robomatrix Jr. Nacional. GIB Global News is a magazine in which students from different grades and German schools worldwide participate. Berlin Media Academy is a project focused on media literacy. The school offers school exchanges with German-speaking countries and maintains ongoing involvement through the Parents Association to support extracurricular activities.
The Colegio Alemán de Guadalajara is a Mexican–German, trilingual and secular school serving students from kindergarten through Bachillerato.
