ISQ maintains more than 80 university partnerships with institutions in Quer07taro, across Mexico, and internationally. The University Liaison program connects students with universities in the state, national institutions, and more than 61 international universities. An annual University Fair exposes students to a range of academic options with speakers, alumni, and university representatives. The Life and Career program supports students in pursuing higher education opportunities.
ISQ offers a wide range of artistic and technological extracurricular activities. The Afterschool program in arts and/or technology is optional and carries an additional cost that varies by activity. Activities include Rhythmic Gymnastics, Theatre, Dance, Guitar (Beginner and Advanced levels), and Robotics.
ISQ is the first school in Querétaro to be recognized by UNESCO as a UNESCO Associated School Network member. It focuses on global citizenship education and sustainable development education. The network includes more than 11,500 affiliated schools in 182 countries, promoting international understanding, peace, intercultural dialogue, and quality education. ISQ hosts a multicultural environment with over 26 nationalities and more than 1,100 students, and offers language tutoring in Spanish and/or English; since June 2025, it has been authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme in High School.
APF runs Circles of Reading to promote a reading culture among parents. Service Social engages the entire school community to help meet the needs of the most vulnerable. APF collaborates with various associations and has included international foundations, such as Venezuelas Fundación Nif1os con Alas de Fe, to promote service and generosity. The program also offers cycles of conferences directed at parents and students to support active participation in their children education.

UNESCO Network activities foster leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as responsibility and the ability to work independently on targeted projects. The network also supports professional development for teachers and opportunities for collaboration across schools. ISQ IB Diploma Programme (authorized in 2025) emphasizes student agency, empowerment, international-mindedness, and critical thinking, enriching leadership and academic growth.
The Afterschool program provides physical development through a range of sports and fitness activities. Swimming is offered from Nursery to High School, two times per week, with level-based progression and biannual progress reviews culminating in a medal. Other sports include soccer, volleyball, basketball, athletics, and a European Velowin conditioning program for High School students. The Arts and Tech afterschool options include Rhythmic Gymnastics, Theatre, Dance, Beginner and Advanced Music, and Robotics, all designed to complement academic growth and personal wellbeing.
International School of Querétaro is a Querétaro campus offering bilingual education with tri-lingual instruction in Spanish, English and French for ages 1-18. The school follows a constructivist, humanistic pedagogy that centers students, develops thinking skills, promotes cooperative work, and respects each learner's pace. It has affiliated with UNESCO's Associated Schools Network since 2001, reinforcing citizenship. The program includes nine internationally recognized certifications across Spanish, English and French, and Cambridge examination results are highlighted as evidence of progress. In 2025 ISQ was authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme in High School. The campus features 100% digitalized classrooms, science laboratories, IT development rooms, a teaching farm, ecological spaces and green areas. Facilities include an indoor semi-Olympic pool, a gym, indoor courts, two soccer fields and an athletics track, plus spaces for art, music and audiovisual learning. Co-curricular program covers arts, technology, environmental education, physical education and reading culture, with afterschool options.
