It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
Step 1. Admissions at Madison International School Mérida offer personalized attention from a member of the Admissions Department who explains the process in detail. The admissions team is available to assist by phone or email. Step 2. The admission process begins with an interview with the family. The family then fills out the application form and submits complete documentation. The Academic Directorate reviews the documentation to ensure it meets school requirements, and space availability is checked before moving forward. Step 3. Documentation required per student is comprehensive. It includes birth certificate and CURP, plus official grades from the last three school years if applicable. It also requires proof of studies from the current school, a letter of good conduct, and a letter of no debt (where applicable for private schools). Official identification of parents/guardians, proof of address, a letter of recommendation or family reference, an updated vaccination record (maternal and preschool only), and any required recommendation forms from the current school (as of 1st grade). Step 4. Admission is based on an interview with the family, space availability, a successful evaluation, and the composition of the student's record. Madison seeks students who can benefit from the learning program and bring talents, abilities, imagination, and curiosity to the school community, as well as families who can strengthen and engage with the Madison community. Step 5. There are waiting lists for many grades. Students who have completed the admissions process and are deemed qualified may be asked to join the waiting list due to space limitations. Students on the waiting list who cannot be admitted in the current cycle have the option to wait and go through the admission process for the following year. Step 6. If the student is accepted, the family has two weeks to pay the registration to secure space. If not accepted, the school will notify the family of the decision and the reasons.
