Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

SHACKLETON INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL emerges as a British school through the extensive experience of its founding team in education. For over 40 years, the founders have taught in early childhood education and language learning centres, developing an early linguistic immersion method. In 2012, they opened SUPERFRIENDS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, and Shackleton now welcomes students from Year 3 to Year 16, organized into Foundation Stage, Primary, and Secondary, with the International Baccalaureate offered from ages 16 to 18.

Community

The Shackleton community is a close-knit family that fosters collaboration and inclusivity, celebrating diversity across the student body. Connection and collaboration are core values, and life at Shackleton includes extracurricular activities, house events, and charity initiatives that build community spirit. The House System is inspired by Ernest Shackleton's expeditions and supports teamwork and school identity.
