Billing schedule and payment terms
- The annual tuition charge is divided into three termly invoices; each term's fees are payable before the first day of the term to which they relate. Invoices are issued separately for each term. Payment of each term's fees is due on the first day of that term.
- Permitted payment methods: bank transfer, Fees in Advance Scheme, School Fee Plan for monthly payments. Payments may also be made by direct bank transfer, cheque, credit/debit card or via the Billing Portal. Premium Credit / School Fee Plan arrangements are available for monthly direct-debit spreading of UK parents' payments (credit subject to status).
- Late or unpaid fees: the school may withhold attendance if fees are not paid on time; each parent who signed the Acceptance Form is contractually liable for fees until otherwise agreed in writing.
Boarding fees and options (summarised)
- Boarding options are offered as Flexi (2 or 3 nights), Weekly, Full boarding, and occasional/extra night stays. Termly boarding component amounts are included in the termly fees listed above for each year group. Extra weekend or occasional boarding is charged separately at GBP 158 per night (inc VAT).
Other costs and supplemental charges
- Digital devices: The school operates a standardised digital device scheme. Devices are compulsory for UK students except Sixth Form and are paid for by parents; parents may choose to purchase outright or rent under a 36-month agreement with the school's chosen supplier (package includes IT support, damage/theft protection and pre-installed software). Device costs are not incorporated into the school fees and are charged separately.
- Extra-curricular activities and specialist tuition: some activities such as Golf, Mountain Biking, Horse Riding, STEM Go-Karting and private music lessons incur additional charges. Private coaching for specific learning support and speech & language support are charged at GBP 67 per hour (inc VAT).
- Transport and miscellaneous: minibus services and taxi costs (where the school arranges transport) are charged as supplemental items and invoiced to parents. School Trunk storage and related services are charged separately. Public examination charges, specialist field trips, medical treatment fees, photographs and purchases from the school shop are supplemental charges.
- Uniform: uniform is required and is available from the school's appointed supplier; uniform purchase is a separate cost to be met by parents (new uniform available from the supplier's online shop; secondhand uniform options are also provided). No fixed single-price uniform total is published.
Refunds, deposits and notice requirements
- The registration fee is non-refundable. The acceptance deposit is generally non-refundable if the pupil does not take up the place, except where the school fills the vacancy created by withdrawal and the year group is full; in that case the deposit may be refunded less administrative costs. The acceptance deposit generally becomes part of the school's funds and is refunded (subject to deductions for outstanding sums) one month after the last day of the pupil's final term.
- Notice to withdraw: a full term's written notice is required to withdraw a pupil (or a term's fees in lieu of notice must be paid). Specific notice deadlines by the term immediately preceding the leaving term are: 10th September to leave at the end of the Autumn Term, 10th January to leave at the end of the Spring Term, and 20th April to leave at the end of the Summer Term. Failure to give the required notice will result in a term's fees becoming due as a debt. Withdrawal part-way through a term does not reduce fees due and does not entitle to a refund for that term.
- Exclusion or required removal: where a pupil is permanently excluded or required to be removed for disciplinary reasons, no refund or remission of fees will be given for the term in which the exclusion occurs, and the deposit will be forfeited in many such cases.
- Circumstances affecting provision: if the school is wholly unable to perform its obligations for a continuous period greater than fourteen consecutive days, fees for the affected period will be pro-rated and, where appropriate, refunded pro-rata.
