Matshwane International School sits in Maun, Botswana, as an English-medium, independent, co-educational institution. Matshwane College delivers Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE since 2021, with AS levels planned from 2025, and is registered with the Botswana Ministry of Education, ISAB, and ISASA. The school offers a Pre-School mini-campus and a Cambridge Assessment Centre, underpinning an internationally accredited education model. The Cambridge curriculum covers Mathematics, English, Setswana (First Language and Communicative Language for non-Setswana speakers), Global Perspectives, Science (Chemistry, Biology, Physics), ICT, Art, Design & Technology, Music, and Physical Education, with English 1st language and languages such as French and German. Robotics, touchscreen technology, and interactive media boards are integrated throughout the curriculum. The campus provides a broad co-curricular program: swimming, cricket, water polo, soccer, netball, hockey, athletics, cross country. Extracurriculars include Drama, Photography Club, and Robotics & Mechanics, plus Marimbas. The school aims to build a uniquely African centre of excellence.
