CBSE Curriculum
Kuwait Indian School, established in 1985 in Jleeb Al Shyoukh, offers CBSE curriculum and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (Affiliation No. 5930016). Recognized by the Kuwait Ministry of Education, the school serves from Kindergarten to Grade 12 with English as the medium of instruction. Hindi/Urdu is taught as a second language until Std X; French is an optional second language from Std V to X, and Arabic is a third language for Std I to VIII. For grades 11 and 12, streams include Science, Commerce and Humanities, with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Computer Science, Psychology, and Informatics Practices; along with Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, History and Sociology. A 2.5-acre campus houses science laboratories, a library, a Music Room, an Art Room, a Play Area, a Counsellor's Room and a Clinic. Extracurriculars span Earth Day, Environment Day, World Health Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Kuwait National & Liberation Day, graduation ceremonies, drama, trips.
