Curriculum

St. Anne's School provides a broad balanced curriculum based on the British National Curriculum. In addition, Spanish Language and Literature, Spanish Social Studies, traditions and culture, and Catholicism are emphasised as part of its international profile. Educational Stages run from Pre-nursery (1–3 years), Early Years (3–4), Primary (5–11), Secondary (12–15), to the IB Sixth Form (16–18). The school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for the Sixth Form, delivered over two years. Students in the Diploma Programme take six subjects, three at Higher Level and three at Standard Level, across subject blocks, plus the core components of Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity and Service. The IB Diploma Programme is a rigorous and balanced education for 16–19 year olds, delivered over a two-year course, and is widely recognised by leading universities. The Diploma provides access to universities around the world, including Spanish universities.
